All of these services spring from the vision and courage of the first, and founding Sister of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration, Blessed Mother Maria Theresia Bonzel. Derby PhotographySister M. Our system recognized the evolving changes in the health care landscape and the need to reinforce the shared capabilities across our hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Founded by Mother Maria Theresia Bonzel, the congregation later became known as the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration. The files of her beatification attest to the love and strength she found therein: "She had grown under the soft light of the Eucharistic sun. Together with Regina Lser, a childhood friend, Aline became acquainted with Klara Pfnder, a teacher, who, with permission of the Local Ordinary intended to found a new religious Congregation.
