She was preceded in death by her husband, William Spencer Ayres; her parents, Willie A. and Mickie N. Taylor, and two brothers, Aubrey R. Taylor and James A. Taylor. David W. and his wife, Gima Taylor of Huntersville, NC and their daughter Nicole of Raleigh, NC and William T. Taylor of Rutland. After teaching for many years, she became an Elementary Reading Coordinator for Union Parish; then served the remainder of her career at Junction City Elementary as Assistant Principal.
