Kamal Meattle, Chief Executive Officer, Paharpur Business Centre
Kamal Meattle is the CEO of Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park (PBCTM-STIP). An entrepreneur with more than 40 years of experience in packaging, paper, chemicals, service and real estate industry, Kamal is an environmentalist by nature. He is the CEO of India’s first USGBC LEED Platinum building under category Existing Buildings (O & M) and BEE 5 Star office - Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park. He is the Promoter of GreenSpacesTM – A SEZ project, to be built as the world’s most energy efficient commercial building on demand side. He is a Trustee with The Climate Project – India taking the climate message to 10,000 schools in Delhi and through them to 1 million children in collaboration with the Delhi Govt.
Pankaj Chandra, Director, IIM Bangalore
Prof. Pankaj Chandra, is the Director of the renowned Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and a Professor in Production and Operation Management. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (first division with Honors) from Banaras Hindu University and a PhD from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvanis, USA. Before joining IIM Bangalore, Prof Chandra was a Professor of IIM Ahmedabad. His area of specialization is Supply Chain Coordination, Manufacturing Management, Technology Networks and Building Technological Capabilities in Manufacturing.
Patrick von Braunmühl, Senior Technical Advisor, GIZ
Patrick von Braunmühl is Senior Advisor of the GTZ-ASEM Project Consumer Protection and Sustainable Consumption in India. He advises the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCA), Government of India, as well as five cooperating States (Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal) on all aspects of consumer policy and sustainable consumption.
D.S. Rawat, Secretary General, ASSOCHAM
Mr. Rawat is the Secretary General (CEO) and responsible and accountable for all the activities of the Chamber. He is nationally acclaimed for his irreplaceable contribution in providing leadership to the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) which helped the institution to position it as the country’s Knowledge Chamber.
Sanjib Bezbaroa, Head-Corporate Environment Health & Safety, ITC Group
Sanjib Bezbaroa heads the Corporate Environment Health & Safety department at ITC Ltd. and leads the sustainability initiatives on the product and services front, including supply chain, besides being responsible for Sustainability Reporting of the organization. He is an Electrical Engineer with over 20 years experience in power plant engineering and commissioning, covering both generation as well as transmission & distribution systems. He is also a Chartered Engineer and a Bureau of Energy Efficiency Certified Energy Auditor.
Rino Raj, Senior Vice President, Corporate and Strategy Planning, Tata
Rino Raj is SVP - Corporate and Strategy Planning at Tata AutoComp Systems and Officer Tata Administrative Services. He has been with TACO since 1997 and has been involved in numerous functions ranging from planning, electronics and technology functions. He has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Ram Sai Yelamachili, Head – Sustainability Center of Excellence India, Bayer Group
Ram Sai Yelamanchili is heading the Center of Excellence (CoE) under corporate development in India. His responsibilities include innovations and sustainable development, local implementation of Bayer climate program, building up close relationship to the Original Decision Makers (ODM) in India in order to open up new market opportunities for Bayer, establish government and nodal agencies support, initiate and lead discussions. Prior to this, he was in the new business department under corporate development as an innovation manager. He holds a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Ph.D.) degree from The University of Bayreuth, Bayreuth, Germany.
Anuradha Bhavnani, Regional Director, Shell Foundation
Anuradha Bhavnani is currently the Regional Director at the Shell Foundation. She has worked with leading Global Multinationals across more than 12 countries. She is also an advisor to the Rockefeller Foundation on the Asian Climate Change and Resilience Program Network (ACCCRN) and a Chairperson on the Board of CottonConnect South Asia- a business with a social purpose: to work with retailers and brands to make the world’s cotton supply chains more sustainable.
Richie Ahuja, Regional Director Asia, Environment Defense Fund
Richie Ahuja is an expert in business development strategies and spearheads EDF’s outreach efforts in India. Richie is focused on exploring innovative local ideas for low-carbon development and on disseminating information and best practices around innovative ideas. Richie and EDF are convinced India will be central to international climate change dialogue and can have a strong positive impact on how the world views low carbon economic development strategies.
